my first and worse bike are The same machine my 17th birthday present from my parents a Suzuki x5 200cc purchased brand new Oct 1978 bits started falling off the thing Oct 1978 what a piece of S*** that thing was a constant source of embarrassment when on every ride with my mates one of them would pull up beside me and hand me yet another lump of self removing Suzuki plastic in the end it got stolen from outside my house could probably have found it by following the trail of bits of Suzuki laying in the road my dream bike was the 1970,s hellion the alleged scary 750 h2 Kawasaki 2 stroke triple until my tuned to the balls 350 LC caned one into the ground one summers day back in the early 80,s but as a collectors classic I would love a Bennelli 900 sei or from the same era a bright orange Laverda Jota lovely thing well out gunned by most bike nowadays but a true classic of its day with a by today's standard a very sedate 130 mph top speed considered to be the fastest standard road bike of its time used to love my LC and my H1 mach 3 kwaka even with its chewing gum frame and addiction to 2 stroke oil but great fun if you are a very sick puppy off the road now cos the doctors will not let me drive ,ride,or do anything vaguely fast anymore owing to my seizures sadly I never owned a fizzy but would have liked to have had one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First bike was a Honda 50.
I've had a Triumph 650, a Matchless 650, 2 BMWs, a DOHC Honda 450 and a SOHC 750, as well as a full-race Yoshimura equipped Suzuki 750 that beat everything I ever raced against.
But my favorite bike which I had far more fun on than anything else was a . . . . .
Honda 400 automatic.
I currently own my "dream bike", a 1955 BMW 50/2. No front end dive when braking, no rear end dip when accelerating, both exhaust valves are into the wind, perfect mechanical balance, art deco styling, magneto powered ignition means the battery can be flat dead and it will still start and run well.
Now, if the helmet law would go away I could ride again.

First; 1970 CT70 Honda Mini Trail. Green 4 spd model.
First full size; 1972 SL125 Honda.
Worst; Man... I guess a 1974 YZ360 Yamaha, the model was great, the one I had was more worn out than I had bargained for. No fault of the bike, I just made a bad decision.
Best; In my heart: 1976 YZ250 Yamaha. Lots of good memories with that one. In reality: 1999 KTM300 EXC. Those 50mm WP forks were some of the best I've ever used! Great bike.
Most interesting; 2002 & 2003 Cannondale E440R & X440R. These bikes have kept me on my toes and made me learn more things about fuel injection, fuel managment and mapping than I ever dreamed of. Once dialed in these puppies are sweet, getting there requires the patience of Jobe.

First bike was an MZ ETZ125. Had the best time on that, even though it got knicked after only 2,000 miles. Incidentally, it was probably the worst bike. On second thoughts, they have all been great but for different reasons. Best bike I ever had a was a Honda Fireblade. Man, I regret getting rid of that. Worst bike for changing gear was a Yamaha Fazer 600 - sometimes made a real bad sound when changing from 1st - 2nd, when it went in!
The kawasawki 450 I wrecked, the dirt bikes where a blast ,Sold the Harley to sister she wrecked it ,the chopper got busted forks, someone stoled the enduro, the yamaha 650 was a great bike ,presently Im trading in the Honda Aero750 for a 1300

My first bike was a 71 Yamaha 60. My brother and I modified it to race flat track.
The worst bike I ever had was a 81 Yamaha 360. I worked on it all the time.
Since that bike, I've only bought Honda. Hondas are the most dependable motorcycles there are. Good Question.

My first and favorite was a Yamaha RZ350 Kenny Roberts Special. That 2-stroke motor would just pull forever and it was always fun to leave a Fathead on a Fatboy coughing in my oil-injected dust. The worst bike was a either a knock-off custom Harley or a Yamaha Turbo.

First bike was a honda c50 cub moped!! S41T really but great when you are 8 yrs old! First road legal was a Honda CG125 which is still on the road with my mates son!!!! Worst bike was a Suzi GT380 which enjoyed making me shat me self at every opportunity! 2 strokes are a bugger when you get the carbs set up wrong. 18 yrs old and and no sense of set up!! Sold it for an XS650......... Oh the silliness of youth!
Best bike? My bootiful Yoshimura CB500/4 (genuine) Phil Read Replica. As someone else posted earlier, 4 wheeled git took us out. I was OK but a piece of biking history was just a bit of written off paperwork on a insurance brokers workload.
Never forgive, always get even.
Edit: Just re-read and saw somebody had a GP100! Cool!! Mine was blue. Did you cut down your baffles!!!!! C'mon, we all did!!

My first was also a FS1E, classic yellow Yam, got 55 mph out of her!
Ridden and owned 22 bikes since.......
Everything except an Italian, although road tested a couple of Ducatis.
The modern Triumphs are good all rounders.
Probably most useful bike so far is a Triumph Tiger 900.
That bike does everything you need from a bike and that little bit more!
Stay upright, ride safe.........

Best bike? My 83 Kawasaki KZ550...great range, good power and comfy too. Worst? 86 Yamaha Radian 600...good power, but no excuse for a pathetic 3 gallon tank...and uncomfortable as hell.
Dream bike...Suzuki DL650 V Strom...as soon as nursing school's over.

first was a 71 yamaha dt250, that was also my worst bike, hard, hard to start, (needed rebuilt, but being a kid didnt know any better) worked on all the time to maybe get to ride for a few hours a weekend. all and all a worn out pile of crap, but it was as fun as i could have when it ran. and my dream bike would be an 1951 indian chief.

1st was a Royal Enfield 250cc Crusader Sports [Blew it up 4 times in 2 years]
Worst was a Tri-Ariel; 500cc Triumph T100s engine in an 1959 Ariel Red Hunter frame. Bl***y thing would rattle itself to bits in the space of about 10 miles. Sure it was possessed. registration number was W V W 33
Best was the Ducati 450 Mk III
Now got an early Hinckley Triumph triple
2006-11-25 06:23:53 UTC
First bike Gilera 50 Touring, not as fast as the AP50 and Fizzy but not far off, and it looked like a proper bike.
Worst bike, Honda CJ250 in yellow. A total and utter dog, never touched a Honda since.

My first bike was a Triumph TR6 (650cc)
Probably my worst bike too, as it had an obsolete points setup that I couldn't find replacement points for. Made it harder than hell to start. First start of the morning had to be a bump (push) start.
2006-11-25 12:54:01 UTC

First is also my worst.
Suzuki ZR50 custom. Bright yellow. I thought I was King Shite on that ******* thing. It went about 35mph with a strong wind behind it. I tried to overtake the local cycling club on it once, I couldn't get past them. I had to stick the choke on and pretend I was breaking down to save face.
