Does ANYONE know what the price of a 1984 Honda Magna V65 was when it was brand new?

My husband has a 1984 Honda Magna V65 and is trying to find out what this bike sold for in 1984 when it was brand new. Does anyone know what it was or how we could find out? We've done searches on Google and can't seem to find the answer. Everything else but that comes up. Thanks to anyone out there who can help.

The MSRP of a 1984 Honda vf1100c/V65 was $4,048.00. It is an 1100cc bike as your husband very well knows, NOT a 700cc like the Choppy C says.

Edit: Apparently Choppy C is confused. Honda did make a Magna 700cc in 1984 but it wasn't the V65.

The V65 Magna retails now for $2,330 according to Kelly Blue Book. In 1984 it retailed for $4,048.

In 1984 the V45 Magna was 2700,

V65 was 3700

At a guess, yes, but you would have to compare part numbers to be certain. The main frame itself is not the same, but any bolt-on sections may be.

the list price was 3,295 dollars M.S.R.P. and in 1984 it was only 700 C.C. due to the import tarrif desighned to help Harley Davidson fight the imports. I googled it for the info by the way!
