My idle speed on my motorcycle moves slightly, what I mean is say that it is at 1000 rpm and it will go down 100 rpms for a second. I just had a jet kit put in, And was just wondering if this is a problem?

It's hard to answer such a question with no details i.e. type of bike or at least how many cylinders, 4 stroke or two stroke, fuel injected or carburetor.

However the problem does not sound bad. If it's a two cylinder bike and you can get it to idle without stalling at 1000rpm then there is very little wrong. There may be room for small improvement by tuning and balancing the carburetors (assuming it has multiple carbs) but there does not appear to be much wrong here.

Yes a jetting kit can make the engine idle rough. That's because the jetting is now set up to make the engine accelerate the bike more quickly, not idle smoothly.

Can it be fixed? Maybe, but it requires careful tuning of the air screw(s). If you have more than one carb, it also means careful syncing of the carbs.
