Taking into consideration what the above person has said, I've owned both bikes and I've done better and worse than those times. I believe it is possible for an amueter bike racer, in a Hayabusa, to lose to a GSXR that is being driven by a pro. But let me tell you something, if you are wanting to buy the bike, the Hayabusa's engine is so front-placed that it has to slow down alot for sharp turns. If both bikes are doing 120 and a sharp turn is coming up, I'd say the hayabusa will drop to 40 while the GSXR drops to 65, making the GSXR quicker, but not FASTER. There is a big difference between being quick and being fast.

It really depends on the rider. same rider on the same bike... I would have to say the Busa is faster (ie... longer wheelbase, very easy to launch)
the GSXR is very wheelie prone, and it will be hard to get out of the hole. your mph might be higer with the 1000 due to the weight difference, but not by much... your 60' on the busa will be much better...

the gsxr has more potential, but the bussa is more controlable, so an expert rider will get a better time on the gsxr, but it's easy for someone lacking skill to run a decent time on a bussa

According to this a Haybusa does the Quarter mile in
According to this the GSXR100 does a quarter mile in
10.8 seconds at 138mph...

While this is not a perfect comparison and it is possible for a smaller bike to beat a bigger bike in the quarter mile, I think you can be pretty sure that the Haybusa GSX1300R will beat a GSXR1000 in the quarter mile.
