Well i have a 110cc 4- stroke motor scooter and i was wondering what i need to do to it for it to be able to go faster. Like what parts and stuff. Or if there's just any modifications i can do myself to give it a little more boost. The top speed right now is either 45 or 50 mph. I want it to be able to go up to about 55 - 65 mph without the engine blowing up.

Thanks

Common restrictors:

Transmission - Inside the cvt system you will find the variator. You can replace the entire variator or possibly just change the boss drive. The restricted boss drive has a lip on the end and the restricted one is completely smooth.

Ignition - On the CDI box, there are usually a wire which needs to be cut or spiced to another one. This will bypass the electronic rev limiter. All models require different wires to be modified so without the make or model, the exact wires are unknown.

Exhaust - On some models there is a washer welded just inside the mouth of the muffler (where it exits the cylinder). You need to take a drill bit that is almost the same diameter as the exhaust mouth and drill it out. Easier said than done.

Carburetor - Some companies "down jet" the carburetors to limit fuel flow. Most don't. Most companies use a spacer plate between the carburetor and intake manifold with a smaller opening to restrict the fuel flow. Take the spacer out.

There are several other things you can do to it to increase speed. These are the most common and the easiest to do. Not to mention cheapest. These steps don't require you to dis-assemble anything either. I have two 50cc bikes that top out at 50mph, your bike should be getting around 60mph.

you can go to google.com and type in model and performance parts after the model then order a performance carb and it should make it go 7 mph faster

adding torque to any bike depends on the carb, carb settings and exhaust systems...also get a high limiter spark plug..more thats burned more torque..ya could order a sports carb that fits anyway..

first off r u talking abt the honda knock-off? and u could go and get a new cylinde with a higher CR and rebuild the carb

A transmission kit + sports muffler + sport air filter + carburetor's (or fuel injection) new adjustment.

If your scooter have drum brakes.... mmm, don't do it!

in australia our postal service has honda ct 110.

these things factory are flat out at 80km/h, but if you change the front sprocket to one just larger like one tooth then they do 100km/h plus
