I don't believe any Ninja had an automatic and the only motorcycles I know of mass produced with automatic were the 1976-1983 Hondamatics That were offered in 400, 450, and 750(depending on year).

VERY few motorcycles have automatic transmissions, and those that do are usualy of the centrigugal clutch type. The ninja 250 is not one of them, and only comes in one trim level, which is 6 speed, and a variety of colors.

Many scooters have automatic transmissions, the term scoter, doesnt refer only to the small tiny ones but also larger more expensive models. You can get scooters with cargo capaity and top speeds supassing 115mph to be driven on freeways. What makes a scooter a scooter is the riding position.

The only bike i know of that comes close to having a true automatic transmission is the yamaha FJR1300ae with a computer controlled, and actuated clutch, and mechanically shifted gearbox. There is no clutch lever on this bike, however, the operator must push a handlerbar button to tell the biek to shift up or down when driving it. (you can also use the foot lever to tell it to shift.)

An automatic transmission as are found in cars is a large complicated object that typically doesnt fit in motorcycles, the transmission in the fjr, is the same transmission foudn in the manual version, but has the addition of electronic solenids to operate it in place of human actuated levers

No, no, and no.

At the risk of incurring the derision of every other answerer, you should try a big scooter, if you need an automatic. I'm talking about, like, 500cc and up, or even the Vespa 300GTS. Eg, if you're in the US, Piaggio BV500, Kymco X-citing, Yamaha T-max. The Genuine Stella can get all sorts of mods to make it a balls-out racer.

Does it have to be a sportbike you want? What about a Ridley?

But if you're simply scared to learn to shift, you'll just have to bite the bullet and learn.

Edit: sorry, the Stella is a manual.

Anyone that wants a motocycle of that type to be an automatic should not even consider a motorbike perhaps buy the bike then swap the engine with the one in your lawn mower a ninja 250 does not even have enough torque to be an auto, Have fun with the hills buddy!!!
