SURE, if you dont care to burn up the charging system on your bike. The battery systems on any car-truck-motorcycle-boat, was never intended to do more than maintain the battery voltage and produce enough electricity for lights, spark, horn,, whatever else. You would be wise and money ahead to go get a cheap 1-6 amp battery charger($25-$35) and use it once or twice a year on everything you own that has a battery.

Definitely will.. But takes a longer time.. Easier to get it charged at a local battery shop.. n for a bike even a drained battery wont affect the performance much.. several bikes run with their battery removed..

Yes it will charge, but a safer way to insure your bike is fully charged, is to use a battery tender.

It will keep your battery fully charged all the time, and will not overcharge it. When the battery charge tops, it goes to standby mode, and if the voltage drops, it turns back on and tops it again. They come with hardwire quick connect hookups for your battery to plug it in very quickly and the plug stays on your bike so you dont have to remove any seat or body panels to plug it in also.

Yes, running the engine will charge the battery. It does not matter if it is in gear or not. Try starting it once a month and let it charge up. You could also get a Battery Tender Jr. this will extend your battery's life.

depending on your gear box maybe the teeth of the cogs are not engaging properly try moving it forwards a bit and see if it helps, or even shift to a gear either higher or lower, then slowly, with a patience, click the gear lever, and to make sure u get neutral, slowly release the clutch.
