I have a Honda Interceptor motor that was taken out of the bike. The frame is gone. I don't have the VIN. How can I found out exactly which 1984 Honda Interceptor bike the motor came out of. It is 998cc motor. We only have the serial number of the motor to go off of.

It most likely came out of one of these.

The Interceptor was SIMILAR but not the same as the Sabre and Magna series. The Interceptor was a true V, S&M were more like L's with shaft drive, If your engine has the cylinders split by a vertical line it is an Interceptor with a chain drive.
