Terrible, terrible choice for your first bike. You state you are not one for speed, yet you are buying a high power, high performance road racing motorcycle that has been adapted for street usage. Being responsible has no bearing on riding a motorcycle. You have no experience, no throttle control, and no skills. Driving a 10 second street car means nothing compared to riding a motorcycle. This bike will do 70 plus mph in first gear alone. You state not planning on doing 180 mph EVER. That's great, but what about facing a situation where you are going way to fast for conditions and your lack of skill puts you on the pavement? No sir, this is a very bad decision. Please read articles below for a better perspective regarding the purchase of high powered sport bike. If you ignore our advise, please sign your organ donor card. And purchase extra life insurance.

Autocar took 29 of the fastest cars in the world, and the Arial Atom set a record time of 11.35 seconds. It beat all of its competitors, including: a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Brooke Double R, Porsche 911 GT3, Roush Ford GT 600RE and the Mercedes CL63 AMG just to name a few

Not many. Maybe a ZR1 corvette or Viper. 1000 h.p. Bugatti, probably.
