Ninja 250 is the basic bike made by Kawasaki. Lasts about 12,000-15,000 miles as the engine will wear out. Life expectancy of any DOT helmet is about 5 years depending on condition. If ever helmet falls or is abused in any accident, replacement is mandatory.

All bikes are good bikes if you take care of them.

That said, the ninja could make as much as 50,000 miles, if it is serviced regularly.

It doesn't really matter though, as you will have traded off and moved up to a larger bike by then.

When you are in the wind, life is much better.

well if you take good care of them they will last for a long time. yes things wil go out and need replacing. but the motor and tranny if well taken care of should last 100k at least. just make sure they have oil and tranny flushes when needed. 100k is a lot for a bike. at least where im from(minneosta) so you can only ride it in the sommer so bikes here never have a lot of miles on them. and the helmets. . . kinda depends on the type you get. the face shield will get scratched up and need replacing eventually. and it will go out of style, so as long as it feals nice on your head and you think it looks nice, then it could last 20 years.
