It has 2 cylinders. I am attaching the link to the official Ducati page where it explains in detail the engine. But here are the basics...



L-twin cylinder

Come on! Its a Ducati - they only make 2 cylinder bikes! Currently that is - they used to make singles and triples. I think the Desmodici is a ffour cylinder, but Im not sure, and thats only for Moto GP racing programs.
