For someone with long legs, the important factor isn't seat height, it's the distance from the seat to the pegs. Unfortunately, most manufacturers don't publish those numbers in their new model specs, so you're pretty much left with going to the various dealer showrooms and trying the bikes on for size.



I would think a cruiser style bike with forward controls would be the best fit for a very tall person. You can also do some things with custom built seats to give you a bit more leg room if you need it.

Almost any larger model Harley such as fatboy or my favorite, a softtail duece. Just be sure to get forward controls it will make all the difference in the world.

You really need to try them out at the dealer to be sure, because there are a number of variables besides seat height. Here's a thought: You might check out a larger dual-sport bike (like HOnda XR650L). Because of their high ground clearance, you might find it more comfortable.
