Question:
My Battery Tender claims the battery is always fully charged despite infrequent riding of my motorcycle?

I just asked this question but it didn't show up on the list:

I drive my car and ride my motorcycle (Ninja 250R) infrequently. I can't permanently connect either vehicle to a charger due to distance to an outlet. I pull the car battery every week or two and the Battery Tender always shows (via red light) it to be needing a charge and then it'll charge for a few hours. Every time I pull the motorcycle battery, no matter how long it's been, the Battery Tender indicates (via green light) that the battery is still fully charged. Both batteries are 12v and the charger is for 12v. It's great that there seems to be no draw on the battery from the bike but it just seems odd considering how often I read about a bike needing a new battery after it was stored for a while. What seems to be the "problem" in my case?

Well leave the light on for a bit to purposely draw down the battery and then try it. From what you say the Tender seems to be working proper. Jell or AGM battery in the bike perhaps? Odd.

The main reason for a stored battery to lose some charge is on account of parasitic discharge. It is not unusual for batteries to retain charge for over a fortnight. But it is good for the battery life if it gets discharged and charged regularly. Hence try draw power by connecting loads periodically pl

Most likely your car has a fuel injection-ignition computer, a clock and radio with memory presets. All those things draw a tiny bit of current 24-7, which adds up over a period of time. I bet your bike doesn't have any of that stuff, hence no current draw.

Just a suggestion but why don't you get some tender leads instead of taking the batteries in and out.
