Question:
(what year are these) Vintage honda motorcycle vin decoder?

i just got 8 old honda CB's and CL's (350cc and 305cc and one 450 frame) from an old guy who was looking to cut down on his inventory and clean up his property.

the problem is, he has no idea what year any of them were.

i'm wondering if anyone has a link to a honda vin decoder site.

they are ALL 60's and 70's bikes, so the normal "look up your vin" websites don't work. they all require 12 numbers, these don't have 12 since they are pre-1980.

thanks!!

VINS:
CL350-3032505
CL77-1049479
CL77-10494060
CL450-4003603
CB350-4022891
CB350-2007915
CL350-5021702

and i cant see the vin on the last one.. but the frame is the same as some of the cb's so i'll just assume its the same.

Unfortunately, there are no VIN decoders for these bikes.

Before 1981, the VIN format was a free for all. Manufacturers could use any format they wanted provided that they resulted in individual numbers that would not be duplicated. Without a standardized format, it would be next to impossible to program any sort of VIN decoder.

Also, there wasn't all the computers that you see today. There also wasn't an Internet. So there is little surviving documentation on these old VINs. You could try your local Honda dealer. They might have some old microfiche laying around. But this is a shot in the dark.

I suggest you get away from Yahoo Answers for this. Use your favorite Internet search page to find a forum dedicated to vintage Honda motorcycles. There are plenty of them out there.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOkjc

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.
