Your jets are gummed up with varnish from old gas. Take the whole carb apart down to the body, clean your jets out (you can run a thin wire thru the holes to get the gunk out) soak the carb body in solvent overnight with no rubber seals or anything in it, then blow out all the passages with an air nozzle, put it back together, be sure to set the floats correctly, and install it AFTER you empty the tank, and change the fuel filter and add fresh gas to it.

not sure but i would definately go through the carbs. Take them off clean them out with some carb cleaner. put it all back together, run some seafoam cleaner throught it. If that doesnt work it could be a more complicated issue like your jetting.....or it could be something simple like a peice of debre that could be in your tank maybe? and maybe it is floating around and when it gets stuck at a certain spot it clogs your lines straving yuor bike for gas?

like i said not 100% sure bit its always best to elimated easy fix problems first

P.S. get rid of that bad gas, we had a muscle car run like **** cause of old gas before

Like the others have said - clean the carburetor.

Water in the gas will cause that problem.

Drain the carburetor into a clean cup to see what comes out.

Water in the gas will look like a jelly fish floating around.
