How old are you? Do you have a car driver's license? Where in the world are you? If you are afraid of letting anything about you, no one can give you detail steps to get your license.

Not sure what state you're in, but in Texas you must take a motorcycle safety course. In that course (which is operated by a private company), you will learn the basics of riding on their motorcycles. At the end of the course (16 hours, usually during a weekend) you will have completed the physical part of your motorcycle test. With that certificate you go down to the DMV and take a short written test. Once you past that test (which you study for in your motorcycle safety course) you will get the "M" on your license. If you don't already have a driver's license I'm not sure how you would go about it, but my guess would be a much longer written test.

YES!! The motorcycle safety program is what you're looking for. It think every state has one. If you type in " (your state) motorcycle safety program" into your browser it should bring it up. It's actually pretty cool because they provide the bike you train on. It's usually a weekend course. Fri you would do about 3.5 hours of book work. Sat would be about 6 hours of being taught and practicing. Then Sun we took our "test". I say that in quotes because the instructors really walk you through it. You do have to bring your own gloves, pants, boots, ect. But they have the helmets and motorcycles. When you finish the course you just take the certificate down to the BMV and they give you a license. Hope this help!

Many states contract out their riding tests to Motorcycle Safety courses, pass the course, go to the state office for a written test and pay the fee's.
